ChikuOS Clinic Connect · Official WhatsApp Business API · Early access
Fewer missed appointments, without chasing patients on the phone.
Clinic Connect is a WhatsApp inbox and visit board for clinics: booking confirmations, a reminder 24 hours and 2 hours before each visit, and today's appointments in one place for the front desk.
ChikuOS Clinic Connect is a WhatsApp appointment-reminder desk for clinics from ChikuOS, built on the official WhatsApp Business API and the clinic's own number. It's in early access; pricing isn't published yet.
The problem at the front desk
- Missed calls. Reception calls to confirm, the patient can't pick up, and the slot stays unconfirmed.
- Forgotten appointments. A visit booked weeks ago slips the patient's mind. A reminder the day before and one a couple of hours before does most of the work.
- Scattered records. The register, a personal WhatsApp and a paper list disagree, and nobody can see who confirmed.
How it works
- Connect the official API on the clinic's own WhatsApp Business number.
- Add today's appointments: doctor, slot, visit type and patient appear on the visit board.
- Reminders and replies run. The 24-hour and 2-hour reminders go out, and replies to confirm or reschedule stay attached to that visit.
What's on the desk
- Today's visits board: doctor, visit type and reminder status on one row.
- Reminder status per slot: queued, sent, read, confirmed.
- A shared WhatsApp inbox: one thread per patient, with the visit shown alongside.
- One-tap confirm. Rescheduling is done by a person on your team, not guessed by a bot.
- After-visit follow-up such as aftercare notes, sent as utility templates, kept separate from offers.
- Staff roles: reception replies, the clinic admin manages templates, and nobody shares one personal phone.
From enquiry to follow-up
- Enquiry: "Do you have a 4:30 PM consult on Tuesday?"
- Booked: "Tuesday, 4:30 PM is held for you."
- Confirmation: "Reply YES to confirm your visit."
- 24 hours before: "Tomorrow, 4:30 PM, consult."
- 2 hours before: "Your visit is in two hours. Reply if you're running late."
- Visit: the row is marked arrived.
- Follow-up: aftercare note and review date.

Official API only
- Template review. Reminders and marketing offers are separate templates, and Meta approves each one. We don't bypass that review.
- Send log. Each message records its purpose and delivery status, so staff can see what the patient received.
- Role-based access. Reception never handles WhatsApp credentials.
- No unofficial senders. No WhatsApp Web automation, shared SIMs or modified clients.
Questions
Does it use the official WhatsApp API?
Yes. Clinic Connect uses the official WhatsApp Business (Cloud) API on the clinic's own number. We don't use WhatsApp Web automation, shared SIMs or modified apps.
Which reminders go out?
A confirmation when the slot is booked, a reminder about 24 hours before and another about 2 hours before. Each uses a utility template that Meta reviews and approves.
Who pays WhatsApp's message fees?
Meta bills the clinic directly for template messages at its published rates, and Meta can change them. Our own pricing isn't published yet; we'll confirm it with you before anything starts.
Can it promise fewer no-shows?
No. Reminders usually help, but results depend on your patients and your schedule. Track your own no-show rate before and after.
Is it available now?
It's in early access. Email us to join the waitlist and we'll reply with what's ready and what isn't.
