AI text cleaner

This free tool from ChikuOS cleans up text pasted from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, PDFs or web pages. It removes invisible zero-width and direction-control characters, turns smart quotes, long dashes and ellipses into plain ones, fixes odd spaces and blank lines, and strips leftover markdown such as **bold**, # headings and code fences. Everything runs locally in your browser.

Honest note: this is formatting cleanup, not an AI-detector bypass. It doesn't rewrite or "humanize" your text, and you shouldn't rely on it to hide that text was AI-assisted.

FAQ

Is this an AI-detector bypass?

No. It only cleans formatting: hidden characters, smart punctuation, spacing and leftover markdown. It doesn't rewrite your words, and it isn't designed or tested to get around AI detectors. If you use AI to write, be open about it where that matters.

Is my text sent anywhere?

No. The cleanup runs in your browser with a small script on this page. Nothing is uploaded, stored or logged.

What are zero-width characters?

Invisible Unicode characters such as zero-width spaces, joiners, byte-order marks and direction controls. They often come along when you copy from chat tools, PDFs or web pages, and can break code, search, forms and word counts.

Will it break emoji?

No. Joiners inside emoji sequences, such as family emoji, are kept.
