Private Local AI Setup is a fixed-price service from ChikuOS, run by Siddharth Mishra, an independent developer in India. A private AI assistant and document chat running on your own computer, so your files don't leave the machine. It is planned at $299 with a turnaround of 3 business days after access, but it isn't available to buy yet.

What you get
- Hardware check before starting: if your machine can't run a useful model, we tell you and refund in full
- Ollama or LM Studio installed with 1–2 models chosen for your RAM and GPU
- A local document-chat interface for your PDFs and files, with no cloud AI calls by default
- Tested on your sample documents, with honest notes on speed and answer quality
- A written guide for daily use, adding documents and updating models. Done within 3 business days of access.
One computer (Windows, macOS or Linux). Answer quality and speed depend on your hardware and are lower than large cloud models. This setup keeps processing on your machine, but we make no compliance claims (for example HIPAA or GDPR): your own policies and device security still apply.

Is it HIPAA or GDPR compliant?
We make no compliance claims. Processing stays on your machine, but your own policies and device security still apply.
What if my computer is too slow?
We check first. If it can't run a useful model, you get a full refund.
Is it as good as ChatGPT?
No. Local models are smaller, so answers and speed are lower. We'll show you honestly on your own files.
